One Thought: Father, there are so many things I can be anxious about today. Instead of "mental churning" help me to choose to say throughout the day: "Right at this moment you are caring for me, caring for ________."
I learn a lot from our dog Winston (ah, the simple I learn a lot from our dog Winston (ah, the simple pleasure of chewing a stick or trying to get two or three balls in his mouth at once). It’s too easy for me to get overwhelmed by the tyranny of the urgent and fail to soak in the simple pleasures of life. Today I want to observe simple things with JOY!

One Thought: My Father and my Lord, there are so many unpleasant, sad, depressing things I could think on today. Instead, I want to dwell on your wonderful majesty and contemplate what it means.

One Thought: In this world things aren't fair or just. So much is wrong, but you are in the midst of it all and you, oh Lord, will remain faithful to the end. I can count on you.
This weekend we celebrated 57 years of marriage! S This weekend we celebrated 57 years of marriage! Several years ago, our grandson Davey helped us recreate our proposal in the actual spot in North Carolina where it happened😊
One Word: Gentle One Verse: “Come to me, all who One Word: Gentle
 
One Verse: “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Matthew 11:28-29
 
One Thought: Jesus, pour your gentle and humble spirit into my heart today. My tendency is to be critical. Remove my critical spirit for ______ and replace it with a gentle, humble heart of love for this person.
